Miya is an AI companion app built around continuity. Instead of starting fresh every conversation, Miya remembers what you've shared — people, plans, preferences and inside jokes — so your relationship deepens over time.

Start from a base (female, male, non-binary or custom) or a preset, then choose appearance, personality traits, chat style, interests and how your relationship begins — friend, close companion, romantic, partner, or let it develop naturally. You can adjust every detail before — and after — you begin chatting.

Miya is free to download. New accounts get a trial of 40 messages, with no time limit — it simply ends when the messages are used or you subscribe. Optional Go, Pro and Ultra plans (monthly or annual) add more messages, richer memory and image generation. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, and plans are managed through the App Store or Google Play.

Yes. Miya keeps your conversation history and long-term memories on your device, so she can recall people, events and open loops without you re-explaining your context.

Yes. You can read, edit, pin or delete every memory Miya keeps, clear conversation history, and export an encrypted backup — all from the app.

Open loops are the unfinished threads in your life — an upcoming interview, a decision you're waiting on. Miya tracks them so she can follow up naturally before and after.

If you let her. Miya can check in — a message in the morning, or a follow-up about something you mentioned. You choose whether, when and how often, and notifications are created on your device.

On your device. Conversations, memories and your photos are not stored on our servers; images Miya generates for you are kept there for up to 72 hours so the app can download them. To answer you, the context needed is sent to an AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek or fal.ai, some of them outside the EU) — the app asks for your consent first. You can delete individual chats and memories, or everything stored on your device, at any time. You can also delete your account from within the app (Account → Delete account); there is a 14-day window in which you can change your mind. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription.

Yes. You can protect Miya with a PIN and, where your device supports it, biometric unlock. Biometric matching is done by your phone, not by Miya.

Yes. Appearance, personality, chat style, relationship and interests can all be refined at any time — nothing is locked in.

Miya is designed around one deep relationship rather than a roster of characters. You can reshape your companion whenever you like.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Cancel directly in your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings — this cannot be done from inside the app.

Deleting the app removes your local conversations and memories from the device. It does not cancel an active subscription — cancel through your store account to stop future charges.

Use "Restore purchases" in the subscription screen to recover an existing entitlement on a new device.

Yes, on the Ultra plan. Bring your own API key from a supported provider and your requests go straight from your device to that provider — their terms and pricing apply.

Yes — Miya is 18+ only. You confirm that you are an adult when you start. We don't ask for your date of birth.

No. Miya is an AI. She's designed to feel personal and present, but everything she says is generated and should not be treated as professional advice. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency number.
